We provide high quality self-contained supported accommodation for women and children who are experiencing homelessness or insecure/unsafe accommodation. Suitability of need will be categorised as a low/medium criteria level, in line with support delivery.
We aim to provide a safe and welcoming space where women and their children are supported to move forward. There are 23 self-contained flats, and each one has a bedroom, bathroom, sitting room and a small kitchen/dining area. There are cots, beds, or bunk beds for children.
There is also a shared lounge with a TV/ relax area, and communal kitchen.
The Quays team are on hand to support clients with both practical and emotional issues. Residents also provide mutual support to each other, and we encourage group activities such as art workshops to keep everyone busy and positive. During their time with us time, support workers will work on a plan to empower residents and help you to move onwards and upwards. This will include finding somewhere to live after leaving and accessing the right financial support.
