Emma has many years’ experience as a business leader and teams driving to reach their goals.
Emma is a qualified accountant, non-executive director and business leader, Emma has worked in a diverse range of sectors including education and utilities. She brings her breadth of experience to senior management and board roles, taking a collaborative approach to problem solving and leading teams and discussions with openness and integrity.
Emma’s recent career highlights include being finance lead on a new 25 year international partnership for a new university in Bahrain; successfully developing international and UK Education Partnerships with c £30m revenue; and developing and implementing a university wide Women’s Voice group to improve equality, diversity and inclusion for women, transgender and LGBT issues.
Emma is skilled in strategy and business planning, project management, commercial and contract negotiation, corporate governance, financial, regulatory and management accounting. These strengths, combined with her personal resilience, enthusiasm and pragmatism, make her an insightful and inclusive contributor to the board.
Emma has an MSc in Strategic Business Management, is PRINCE 2 qualified and a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
