Michelle Bolton

Michelle has worked in the Supported and Social Housing sectors for over 25 years, starting within finance working for a large Housing Association with over twelve thousand units.

Michelle then took a position with one of the leading providers of supported living accommodation, Golden Lane Housing, as Rent and Income Management Lead, this allowed her to gain first-hand experience and cumulate vast knowledge of the intricacies of supported Housing and developed a detailed knowledge of the Housing Benefit system, to be able to support tenants, families and carers.

Throughout her career she has worked on major projects to achieve the best outcomes for delivery of service to all tenants.

Michelle had a personal reason to be involved in helping vulnerable people to achieve independent living, she was inspired to make a difference by making it her mission to improve the lives of vulnerable tenants, having directly experienced the sector through her daughter who currently lives in supported living.
